MJY Shelf Combination Form & Rated Loading Capacity
MJY Shelving Load Capacity Reference For Retail Store Display Designers
Important Guidelines for Display Designers
-
Uniform Load Rule
The rated capacity applies only when goods are spread evenly. Heavy items placed on one small spot create point load stress and may bend the shelf even if total weight is below the rated value. Avoid stacking heavy products at the front edge only.
- Depth & Bracket Selection
Shelf depth directly affects load performance. Deeper shelves have lower allowable load with identical brackets. For heavy merchandise, select reinforced brackets and shallower shelf boards.
- Vertical Arrangement Suggestion
Place heavier products on lower shelves and lighter goods on upper layers. This lowers the centre of gravity and improves overall stability of the whole gondola unit.
- Modification Warning
Do not cut, drill or modify uprights, brackets or shelf boards on site. Any alteration will invalidate the load rating and bring safety risks. If you need custom dimensions or higher load capacity, contact MJY technical team before project confirmation.

Environmental Consideration
Avoid long-term use in high-humidity or corrosive environments, which may gradually reduce structural performance.
